Interesting fact:

American Pencil Company is not indicated on this pencil, however the style of print indicates to me a pre-Venus Pen and Pencil Corp. pencil. It is also my observation that American has been left off of other pencils made abroad. It would look odd to have “American” and England printed on the same pencil.
