Ecridor is the name of a famous series of pens produced by Caran d'Ache.
Based in Switzerland, Caran d’Ache has been producing fine writing instruments in Geneva workshops since 1915. The company began as Fabrique Genevoise de Crayons and changed its name to Caran d’Ache in 1924. The name is based on “karandash” — Russian for pencil.
