Soll & Haben Tintenstift

Brand: Schwan Bleistift Fabrik

Made in: Germany

Soll & Haben translates Debit and Credit. It was one of the most popular and widely-read German novels of the 19th century, by Gustav Freytag (1855)

The extra model I have is a lighter color than the one pictured, but side by side my model is similar and does not appear so bright as in this picture.  Actual color is more of a lavender.  You won't be disappointed!

About Schwan Bleistift Fabrik

Many of the larger and well known European pencil companies opened up a franchise in the USA. For example, The House of Faber: A.W., Eberhard, & Johann. It appears that Schwan did the same, using the American spelling of Swan on its pencils manufactured in the U.S. as well as some made in Germany.
