With all the talk of the Blackwing Legacy limited release of the 602 I thought I’d put together 12 sets of 3 MMx’s for your consideration.  This trio spans the entire existence of the MMX. In other words the very first one and the last one.

June 2024: The 37th release in Blackwing’s Volumes series, the Blackwing 746 is a tribute to the San Francisco icon in its distinctive International Orange color – The Golden Gate Bridge.  Featuring firm graphite.

This special Blackwing x Robert Brighton edition features a violet eraser (the color of Sarah’s eyes), a gold ferrule (for the novels’ Gilded Age setting), and a barrel imprint derived from the Victorian marbled papers used in fine bookbinding. March 2024: The 36th release in Blackwing’s Volumes series, the Blackwing 710 is a tribute to Jerry Garcia and his fusion of visual and musical expression. A slice of his painting “Curves & Lines” is printed on each pencil, which features our soft graphite that is ideal for both drawing and songwriting.

Blackwing teamed up with Tim Collom to procude a slate notebook and pencil combo.

This Lab was only sold with a notebook, so essentially it is a $30 pencil.
