While Kitaboshi is known for their wild geometric pattern designs, it's nice to see the more common floral design.
This Tokyo-based company established its first factory in Saroma, Hokkaido, in 1913. In 1951 it became known as the Hokusai Pencil Co., Ltd., and still manufactures pencils today. Learn more at kitaboshi.co.jp.
