Based in Kraków, Poland. J. Karamansky founded his limited responsibility company in 1894 outside Krakov in the suburb of Zwierzyniec. His company and factory produced mainly coolers, paints and inks but also a very wide selection of products for artists, schools, decorators and all types of technicians. Karmanski sold his company in 1903 to Gabryel Gorski and Co. but the new owners kept the name of Karmanski because of his excellent reputation. Karamanski exported to Germany, France and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the beginning of the war all was seized... may their souls rest in peace and not be forgotten.
