Etched print, square lead (pre-1900's), long ferrule....what a combination! Oooh, just noticed Eberhard Faber makes the Imperial 2842 as well.....no doubt a link between the two companies now.
Graphite Pencil Co. was an American pencil brand produced by Eberhard Faber beginning in 1893 — around the same time the company was breaking away from Germany’s A.W. Faber and dealing with lawsuits over using the name "E. Faber" in the USA.
