Johann Faber Germany/USA has come and gone a long time ago. However, the rights to and use of this mark is still seen in some countries. This pencil is made by Adel.
Founded in 1969 and today part of the Anadolu group of companies, Adel is the pioneer and leader of the Turkish writing instruments industry. Specialized in wood-cased pencils, Adel formerly produced millions of “Johann Faber” branded pencils under licensed from Faber-Castell. The company also manufactures pencil slats from poplar wood at its plant in Giresun, Turkey.
