Founded in 1934 and based in Galicia, Spain. The previously used name of Johann Sindel is actually a product line of the Spanish manufacturer Hispania S.L., much like the Venus product line for the American Pencil Co. Johann Sindel was a German workshop manager who was specialized in the process of making pencils. He later gave up his name for the new line of pencils.
