This is a nice one. NOTE: Unfortunately my only duplicate has some what looks like over spay mostly on the reverse.(It also looks like tape residue but there is no texture to it so I am calling it over spray). The dark blue barrel and silver embossing are very nice. You may never see another.

Johann Faber was one of three brothers who at one point worked for the Stein, Germany-based family business known as A.W. Faber Pencil Company in the second half of the 19th century. (Johann’s younger brother, Eberhard Faber, opened the first American pencil factory.) Johann left to start his own pencil business in Nuremberg in 1879. However, his company ended up merging with A.W. Faber during the global economic crisis of the late 1920s.
