Founded in 1969 and today part of the Anadolu group of companies, Adel is the pioneer and leader of the Turkish writing instruments industry. Specialized in wood-cased pencils, Adel formerly produced millions of “Johann Faber” branded pencils under licensed from Faber-Castell. The company also manufactures pencil slats from poplar wood at its plant in Giresun, Turkey.
