Interestingly enough marked USA on the reverse. It would be my understanding at this point that they were purchasing blank stock pencils from the cheapest suppler available at the time and this pencil was made in the USA and sent to England to be branded by Egerton. So it is possibly this smaller brand never manufactured their own pencils or that they just needed extra stock at one time.  Others say British Made.
