About Chikyu Pencil Co.

Japanese Pencil Co. began in 1918, then in 1947 became known as Chikyu Enpitsu (which is translated into English as “Globe Pencil”) after a merger with five other pencil manufacturers. Then in 1991 the name was changed again to Chikyu Pencil Co.
