Rippowam No.2

This pencil is most likely named after the Rippowam River in Fairfield County, Connecticut. I found a used one around 1977 when I first started collecting. It took nearly 40 years before I finally found an unsharpened version. Pencils from this and other small pencil manufacturers are scarcer than those from major companies like American, Dixon, and Eagle; yet I have seen many Rippowam in the last decade due to resale markets like Ebay.
