Brand: General Pencil Co.
Made in: USA
Nice variety of the Semi-Hex 498. The top WWII-era purple plastic ferrule is quite rare as far as WWII pencils are concerned. NOTE: the single pencil is available for purchase here. Judging from the silver print, I am placing this pencil before WWII. The only other silver print Semi-Hex I have is the oldest long ferrule, so I think this pencil is 1930's. It's a beaut! The box belongs to the silver print model but not for sale.
