Mikado 174 No.3 + Sticker

Brand: Eagle Pencil Co.

Made in: USA

Nice variety of the Mikado here. Just recently sold out of the low band lefty Mikado, but something rather interesting just arrived.  This would be a pre-WWII Mikado right with mid guess is production sometime prior to the Bombing of Pearl Harbor. As history goes Peal Harbor was bombed on Sunday, December 7, 1941.  The day after the attack, Congress declared war on Imperial Japan with only a single dissenting vote.  Not exactly sure how long it took took for the Eagle Pencil Company to officially change the name of this pencil from Mikado to Mirado.  Therefor I must believe this pencil could have been made from 1938-1942.  Spectacular condition for an 80+ year old pencil.  Want one? NOTE: The single pencil pictured is available for purchase here.  Also, for a limited time while supplies last a previous unissued version of my Mikado sticker will be sent with each order.
